Environmental sustainability, sourcing ingredients from local producers, and being a great place to work are core company values. We pride ourselves in quality and expect excellence from our staff. We currently have a staff of 12, along with 2 working owners. We operate in a laid-back and friendly environment, and we work hard to meet our goals.

Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote

Hours Per Week: 5-10

Job description:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, e-mail marketing, content creation, and analytics to optimize performance across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that align with overall business goals, in regular communication with business owners.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop and execute customer journey emails with Mailchimp.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and other platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research for SEO optimization in all content created.
  • Assist in public relations efforts by developing relationships with influencers and media outlets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other design tools within the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp and other e-mail marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics.
  • Experience in public relations or relationship management is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail for proofreading content.
  • Ability to create compelling graphics and videos that align with brand messaging.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce strategies is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
