We love honey and we do our best to source the most delicious and high-quality honey possible from local beekeepers we trust. We independently test our honey to ensure quality and purity. Our honey is always raw, single-source, and never micro-filtered. Since our honey comes from a handful of Pacific Northwest beekeepers, we often have several varietals from different locations for sale. When honey is kept raw, it retains all of its healing virtues and preserves the delicate flavors from millions of wildflowers.
Ingredients:
Raw Pacific Northwest Honey
Available Sizes:
12 oz. glass jar
20 oz. glass jar
Other Info:
We have honey from our own Pacific Northwest apiaries currently available, along with apiaries managed by other beekeepers we trust.
Raw Honey will crystallize - this is a natural property of honey, and does not mean it has gone bad!
Our facility is certified GMP-compliant, and is free of all major allergens, including gluten.
Varietals/Tasting Notes:
Honey captures a moment in time - when it's harvested, it has the imprint of the year's weather patterns and what was blooming in the area where the bees were gathering nectar. Flavors and textures of honey can vary dramatically from year to year, which is part of what makes honey special. Once a varietal from a particular year is gone, it's gone forever.
Tasting notes coming soon! Check out the honey connoisseur guide photo as well, which is how we grade each honey's color in the below descriptions.
Decision fatigue? Select the "Let us choose for you!" option and we will select our favorite varietal at the moment to send to you.
Beavercreek Blackberry
Blackberry honey is a Pacific Northwest classic — blackberries are one of the most important nectar crops for honeybees in our region! From hives kept near Oregon City, in the charming hamlet of Beavercreek, Oregon.
Beavercreek Clover
This is one of the best clover honeys we've ever had! Made from the nectar or clover flowers, it is mild, light, and smooth - making it a versatile choice for sweetening tea, baking, or drizzling. From hives kept near Oregon City, in the charming hamlet of Beavercreek, Oregon.
Beavercreek Vetch
Vetch is a gorgeous and extremely light honey, from the cover crop Vetch. It is mild in flavor with a touch of complexity. From hives kept near Oregon City, in the charming hamlet of Beavercreek, Oregon.
California Orange Blossom
Although it's not a local honey, we always snag orange blossom honey when it's available because it's just so delicious. It's a sweet, floral, and fruity honey that is ever-so-reminiscent of the citrus groves of California. Light amber color grade.
Silver Falls Wildflower
A honey as rich in flavor as the land is in bloom. Our bees gather nectar from the region’s abundant wildflower blossoms each summer, creating a golden, velvety honey with deep berry undertones and a whisper of floral brightness. It’s a taste of Oregon summer in every spoonful — perfect for drizzling over fresh fruit, swirling into yogurt, or sweetening tea with a hint of wild sweetness. From hives kept near gorgeous Silver Falls in Silverton, Oregon. Light amber color grade.
Walla Walla Star Thistle
Light, delicious, and unique, with a bold flavor profile. Light amber color grade, from hives kept in Walla Walla, WA.

I’m not a fan of honey, my husband loves ll honey. I typically only eat range blossom honey. I tried the mickleberry blackberry honey and I love it. I just bought another jar. The large one this time as a birthday treat for myself! 💕
We're so happy to hear that you love our blackberry honey - it's one of our favorites too! We hope you enjoy the larger jar and we're honored to be part of your birthday treat. Thank you for choosing our honey and we appreciate your support. Have a sweet day!
my favorite is the blackberry origin ones, they are the best sweeteners (better than maple and way better for you than sugar) for matcha lattes since they have a mild flavor that complements the matcha without overpowering it. Love mickelberry!
Hi there! Thank you so much for leaving a review for our Honey by the Jar. We're delighted to hear that it's your go-to sweetener for matcha lattes!
